OSCAR repurposes recycled materials to create images of life and energy. He shows how items that are discarded and deemed useless can be used to send a message to humanity. His beautiful pieces bring to life the importance of recycling and decreasing the carbon footprint for the survival of earth and humanity.
He uses natural elements like flowers, insects and animals as inspiration. He molds pieces from natural wood, marble, recyclable and reusable materials to create alluring 3D works that easily spark conversation amongst strangers.
His work embodies and reflects his perception of the beauty and symmetry of nature and how it coexists with man-made structures.
OSCAR AGUILAR specializes in faux decor and Venetian plaster artwork. His earlier creative works were inspired by his strikingly beautiful homeland Honduras.
